Dr. Ismat Nasiruddin
Dr Nasiruddin qualified from Imperial College London in 1994. She has held posts in several busy London teaching hospitals after completing her medical and surgical training, further specialising in psychiatry (St Mary’s Hospital rotation covering a range of sub specialisms across all ages – mood disorders, psychoses, addictions, eating disorders and neuropsychiatric conditions), gynaecology/obstetrics (UCLH), hormonal therapy (PCOS,HRT and menopause work) sexual health, family planning, and paediatrics and emergency care. Dr Nasiruddin works with some of the finest consultants in London and maintains a close network of leading specialists who she works closely with can refer into.
She also enjoys hospital-based casualty work and continues to work shifts in various A&E departments in London (Imperial College). She was a finalist in the GP Registrar of the Year in 2000 and has worked in the NHS and privately as a GP in Kensington, Westminster, Mayfair and Clapham where she has been a partner since 2002. Dr Nasiruddin runs the coil and implant fitting clinics (see video on website) and the menopause and minor surgery clinics.
Dr. Nasiruddin holds various memberships including the Royal College of GPs, the Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Diploma in Family Planning and Letter of Competence in IUD Coil fittings and subdermal contraceptive implants. She also has qualifications in psychiatry, paediatrics, emergency care and occupational health, is a member of the British Menopause Society and trained in bio identical hormones. .

with years of paediatric experience, we are happy to see children and adolescents of any age for any issue, from croup to cow’s mills protein intolerance and reflux. Again, we are supported by excellent paediatric consultants for further management if needed.

with a background in psychiatry, I work closely with individuals to support a proper treatment plan and care. I work closely with a number of leading consultant psychologists and psychiatrists, to ensure the best possible treatment options for an individual. Medication can be very helpful, and the options are enormous and take time to review and decide. Psychological therapy is often life changing and the two treatments often compliment each other – but this is a complex decision which varies for each individual. We review this in an unhurried assessment & detailed management advice and follow up, to ensure good progress.
One of our most popular consultations. As a member of the British Menopause Society I am highly experienced in managing all aspects of the peri/menopause and HRT options. Recognising this is a transition to a new stage we support individualised positive ways of managing this long term. We can support management of concurrent medical concerns such as migraine or other health concerns.
Sadly there is no ideal contraception. What we recommend is to take an honest look at all the available options and find the one that suits you best.
